What is SEAL
SEAL is a curriculum based digital learning platform for English, incorporating all aspects of learning a language - speaking, listening, reading and writing. It contains over 200,000 words of original created content, focused on transforming the child into a confident and literate student. The program benefits students in 3 ways - improves written and spoken English, enhances basic Computer skills and boosts overall academic performance.
How It Works
Infrastructure
SEAL is run in a fully operational computer laboratory, without the use of the Internet. The SEAL laboratory gives the school’s infrastructure a major makeover and the students benefit from a comfortable learning space. We partner with like minded schools and organisation in order to impact all the children from the 1st grade to the 8th grade.
Conducive environment
SEAL provides the students with a positive learning environment, by encouraging, supporting and mentoring them. Through its 1:1 student to computer ratio, it facilitates meaningful learning through its various components and equips the students to perform better in their exams. The one-on-one model which SEAL uses, promotes independent learning, by letting students grasp the curriculum at their own pace.
Teacher as a role model
A well educated and fully trained SEAL Evangelist (SE) operates the program in a school acting as a role model for the students at the same time. Some of our SEs and key staff members come from the best institutes (IIT, TISS etc.) and organisation (Citigroup, Bosch, Teach for India, Honeywell) in the country.

The most remarkable feature of this module is that it is based on Text books. This makes it easily adaptable. Also the practice of tracking the performance of individual student and level testing would help to determine the progress. Success Stories
Shravani Kamble a 4th grader enrolled in the SEAL program last year as an unsure, wary girl with no knowledge of the English language. In time she picked up the language, and became a confident and enthusiastic learner, always ready to participate actively in class. All this helped her grow by 4 Levels in English. Her mother who works as a house help has high hopes for Shravani and wants her to concentrate on her studies even if she insists on helping her mother with the household chores.

Seeing their children in an English speaking classroom was a distant dream for many factory workers in Sangli’s MIDC area. The SEAL program (Knowledge on Wheels) has turned this into a reality, with parents frequently visiting the bus (mobile SEAL class) to check on their children’s progress and expressing the need for the program to continue.
The ZP Sillod’s HM’s keen desire to implement the SEAL program led him to improve his school’s infrastructure by taking a loan against his PF. The school got 10 new computers due to this, which are now being used for SEAL and other classes.
