Aarey Colony Municipal School

Adopted in 2009, we have initiated our school programmes with English Immersion classes. We started with a pilot of 30 students, which has expanded to 150 students in February 2010. The children attend our classes thrice a week at the school. Currently, the school teaches in 3 languages - Marathi, Hindi and Tamil. We are in the process of increasing our intervention time at the school, with adding vacation batches and extra-curricular activities.

Measurement and Progress

We keep every students record to track their progress and regularity with our programmes. Good students are encouraged and we work with them by organising special classes for them, putting them through fast track mentoring with volunteers.
