Activities related to Municipal Schools

Durgadevi Municipal School

In this school that we have adopted since 2003, we try to create an enriching educational experience.

Academic: Teaching, assimilation, testing, reading, phonetics.

Cultural: Projects, outings, dance and drama.

Social: Peer interaction, appropriate etiquette, nutrition, home visits.

Progress

We try to track student's progress in the form of a graph so that their mothers, many of them illiterate, are able to "visualize" their childrens' progress.

Sujaya Premises Classes (at Lotus House):

Approximately 50 children attend, with varying degrees of regularity. Classes are held on all days including Saturday and Sunday while vacation classes are held Monday to Friday. The subjects covered are Maths, Science, English, Marathi and Computers across Standards 5,6,7,8,9 and 10.
